Session 3 Week 3!


 This week's basket has Potatoes, Carrots, Arugula, Jalapenos, Radishes, and Turnips.


On Thursday we went to the Taphouse in Manhattan to celebrate somebody (me) turning 18! Mom got their Bahn Mi sandwich, which was really good. She quickly realized that we could easily make it at home. So here is a recipe to try it out for yourself! Adding Arugula makes it taste great too.

And now that the weather is getting a bit chillier, it's the perfect weather for some soup. What's better than a nice warm bowl of potato soup? My favorite thing to do with potato soup is loading it with cheese and bacon bits, but you can do whatever you want with it.

Of course, if you're not a big soup person, why don't you give these roasted purple potatoes a try? If you do it just right, you could make them into delicious potato wedges or french fries.
